Having worked with learners from many different cultural backgrounds, we here at Newcastle Language Systems are acutely aware of how these differences are affecting not only productivity, but the psychological health of your non-native staff. It's for this reason that we designed a survey that measures the Cross-Cultural Sociolinguistic Health of your company.
Consisting of approximately 70 questions, the survey focuses on how language and cultural differences affect employee attitudes toward the company and their personal growth. Measured on a 10 point Likert Scale, typical Disagree / Agree questions include:
- I can completely trust any native English-speaking manager.
- If I don't speak up at a meeting, it's often because native English speakers are dominating the discussion.
